Staff Accountant
Robert Half is partnering with a well-established company in the government contracting and manufacturing industry to identify a Staff Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong general ledger experience who enjoys working in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate accounting records in Net Suite
- Support accounting activities related to government contracting and manufacturing operations
- Assist with audit requests and other special accounting projects
