Tax Supervisor

Overview

Withum’s Tax Services Group is a team of tax specialists that ensure tax reporting obligations are met accurately and timely, minimize or defer tax payments, and develop economical tax strategies across international, U.S. federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare complex C‑corp., S‑corp., and partnership income tax returns.
• Prepare high net worth individual returns.
• Review mid‑level complexity C‑corp., S‑corp., and partnership returns.
• Review mid‑level complexity individual returns.
• Research and draft memorandum on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies.
• Train and supervise staff accountants.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Licensed CPA, or currently pursuing CPA with required parts passed.
• Preferred:
  Master’s of Science in Taxation.
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and innovative problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Salary range in San Del‑lie: $95,000–$135,000. Base compensation plus a competitive benefits package and a bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance.
