We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our growing CPA firm. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and enjoys working with closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced CPAs in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications
  • CPA license preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Strong experience preparing:
    • Form 1065 – Partnership Returns
    • Form 1120S – S Corporation Returns
    • High-net-worth Form 1040 Individual Returns
  • Ability to identify tax issues and communicate them effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines during busy season
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
  • Multi-state tax returns
  • Tax planning concepts
  • Experience with Lacerte (preferred)
  • Experience with Quick Books Online/Desktop
  • Familiarity with Canopy, TaxPlanIQ, or similar tax workflow software is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review business and individual income tax returns
  • Organize and analyze client financial information
  • Research tax issues and assist with tax planning opportunities
  • Communicate with clients to obtain missing information
  • Work closely with partners and other team members to deliver high-quality client service
  • Assist with extensions, estimates, and year-round tax projects
