Client Accounting Services Staff

Job description:

Assist with daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Prepare and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.

Maintain accurate financial records and organize supporting documentation.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Prepare financial reports and schedules for internal and client use.

Support payroll processing and sales tax filings, as applicable.

Ensure compliance with firm standards, accounting principles, and applicable regulations.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Take ownership of tasks and work with others to prioritize work assignments

Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines

Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties

Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality

Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients#LI-DNIQualified candidates will possess the following:1-3 years of experience in public or private accounting

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Excellent organization and time management skills

Highly detail-oriented, organized and proactive

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service focus

Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks; knowledge of CCH Axcess and Engagement a plus Technical skills reflective of experience

An ability to work within a team framework and comfortable reporting to multiple people
