Senior Accountant

Our client, a dynamic and growing technology company in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will play a key role in supporting the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and helping maintain strong internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
• Analyze financial data and research variances to ensure reporting accuracy
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, accruals, and prepaid expense reconciliations
• Support audit activities and assist with providing documentation for external auditors
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal accounting controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
• Support ERP and system-related accounting initiatives, including process enhancements
