Senior Accountant

Job Opportunity

International financial services company seeks a Senior Accountant in San Diego, CA. Primary responsibilities include analyzing and implementing new accounting standards, adhering to USGAAP principles, ensuring internal controls are applied throughout the organization, having a strong understanding of general accounting and leasing accounting, conducting weekly, monthly, and annual reconciliation of GL accounts with sub-ledgers, managing the schedule accordingly, working overtime to meet accounting cycles, reconciling financial discrepancies, reporting and analyzing monthly financial results to the manager, drafting financial statements, and assisting in the audit process.

Requirements include a bachelor's in accounting or equivalent experience, more than 5 years of US GAAP experience, CPA license holder or candidate, the ability to identify accounting errors and independently find solutions with minimal supervision, time management, work-load planning, and strong leadership abilities including communication and interpersonal skills.
