Senior Technical Authority

You will serve as the senior technical authority directing professional accounting operations, managing complex automated financial systems, and leading Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) initiatives.

You will provide expert-level management advice and independent oversight to resolve the most challenging accounting issues stemming from the commands' unique missions, isolated operating environments, and highly complex funding streams.

You will both work independently and direct team efforts to address assignments that are typically without precedent, of long duration, and require extensive cross-agency collaboration.

You will assign work to subordinate(s) based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

You will directly advise the Commander and subordinate leadership on resource availability, internal controls, and the overall financial health of the command.
