Manager, Accounting; Revenue

Responsibilities:

• Serve as subject‑matter expert for partnership/customer contract revenue accounting under ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP; assess complex contracts and determine appropriate recognition and disclosures.
• Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies/procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and SOX controls.
• Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate tracking of actual labor hours and support audit‑ready, well‑substantiated inputs to input‑method revenue recognition.
• Perform order‑to‑cash month‑end and quarter‑end close: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Assist with gross‑to‑net revenue accounting, including review of 3rd‑party support.
• Lead preparation of revenue‑related disclosures for Forms 10‑Q and 10‑K.
• Prepare and maintain SOX‑compliant controls for the revenue and accounts receivable cycles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of financial accounting with significant revenue recognition (ASC 606) focus.
• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements for revenue recognition, receivables, contract assets, and deferred revenue.
• Ability to manage complex monthly/quarterly close.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex accounting guidance to non‑finance/cross‑functional partners.
• Strong project/change leadership, organizational skills, accuracy/detail focus, and ability to meet tight timelines.
• Strong oral/written communication, highest integrity, adaptability, excellent teamwork, self‑motivation.
• Occasional travel between Arrowhead locations.

• Technical accounting experience in life sciences/biotech/pharma;
  Big 4 and public company experience.

Pay range (CA): $120,000-$145,000.
