A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Lease Abstract Administrator in the San Diego, CA area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented property accounting professional with experience supporting residential and commercial real estate operations, lease abstracting, CAM reconciliations, payment posting, account adjustments, and journal entry input. - Prepare and review lease abstracts to ensure accurate tracking of key lease terms, billing details, and property-related obligations.
- Complete CAM reconciliations and assist with related property accounting processes.
- Post payments, process account adjustments, and maintain accurate tenant and property account records.
- Input journal entries and support month-end accounting activities as needed.
- Research discrepancies, communicate with internal teams, and help ensure timely resolution of billing or account issues.
- Support residential and commercial property accounting functions with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Salary range: $70,000 to $75,000 per year.

- Assist with property accounting functions for residential and commercial properties.
- Research account discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative, lease administration, property accounting, or property management experience.
- Experience with lease abstracts is required.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant property accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of CAM reconciliations, payment posting, account adjustments, and journal entries.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Experience supporting both residential and commercial property accounting.
- Prior experience in a property management or real estate accounting environment.
- Familiarity with property accounting systems or lease administration software.
