Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Accounting and Labor Compliance teams within a growing General Contractor (GC) office. This position plays a key role in supporting certified payroll processing, subcontractor base access (DBIDS), contracts administration, and general office operations. No certified payroll experience is required — we are committed to training the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic office experience who is eager to learn, willing to help where needed, and interested in being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities Labor Compliance Support- Assist with the preparation and processing of certified payroll reports
- Support labor compliance documentation and record tracking
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for compliance records
- Coordinate and process DBIDS applications for subcontractor base access
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical project document files
- Assist with data entry and general clerical duties
- Support the Contracts Department with subcontractor communication and follow-up
- Track documentation requests and assist with document collection
- Help maintain organized subcontract files
- Serve as backup receptionist when needed
- Assist with coordination of company events and office activities
- Provide general administrative support across departments as required
- 1+ year of basic office or administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset

- $22-$25 per hour
- The offered rate will be based on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience.
