Job SummaryThe Operations Coordinator for the Fermanian School of Business (FSB) provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Vice Dean and Director of Operations, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in the FSB.
Responsibilities- Maintain and update the FSB Policies and Procedures Manual and academic resources.
- Support academic operations, including scheduling, syllabi coordination, curriculum processes, and course development.
- Create and maintain assessment documentation and coordinate faculty workshops.
- Assist with accreditation tasks for ACBSP and WASC, including data collection and reporting.
- Coordinate the application and distribution process for undergraduate scholarships within the FSB.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, committees, and special projects.
- Generate data reports and analyze trends related to student and program outcomes.
- Manage faculty and student grievance processes and support conflict resolution.
- Enhance student satisfaction through effective communication and service.
- Two years of administrative experience and core competency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including correct English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, format, and etiquette.
- Demonstrated skill in working with diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Accuracy, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset and excellent time management.
- Ability to work through projects until completion, communicating effectively with the Director of Operations and Vice Dean.
- Understanding of and commitment to the university’s spiritual mission.
- Ability to travel between multiple educational sites.
- Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
- Ability to meet physical requirements: long periods of sitting, computer use, and occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
