What We Do

The Trust Associate provides administrative support for the day-to-day management of trust accounts, assisting Trust Officers with account administration, documentation, and client service activities. This role helps ensure accurate recordkeeping, compliance with established procedures, and efficient trust operations while supporting the department’s overall goals and commitment to exceptional service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides a wide range of support within the Trust department
  • Performs clerical tasks related to the administration of trust accounts for which the institution acts as trustee, depositor or agent
  • Assists Trust Officers on less sensitive accounts or specific assets within accounts
  • Makes recommendations to administrators and officers regarding issues
  • Assists in the preparation of court appearances and audits
  • Assures file documentation is maintained and current
  • Follows functional area’s processes and procedures in daily activities, troubleshoots as needed and recommends suggestions for continuous improvements to overall operations
  • Actively contributes to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives

What You'll Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of trust administrative experience
  • Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level
