Title Assistant

Onsite in San Diego, CA.

• Assist in reviewing chains of title to identify ownership history, liens, and encumbrances.
• Review title commitments, policies, and related documents.
• Communicate with title officers, escrow officers, lenders, and real estate agents to resolve title-related matters.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain organized title files.
• Support the processing of title curative matters as needed.
• Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence and maintaining records.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in title insurance, escrow, or real estate.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with legal documents.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title software (e.g., Soft Pro, Smart View or similar).

FNF, its affiliates, and subsidiaries carefully consider multiple factors to determine compensation, including education, training, specialty, experience, and work location. Based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience, this position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $26.00 – $32.00 hourly. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package, which may include health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability);

paid holidays, vacation, and sick time; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
