Description

Seeking a highly organized individual with the ability to achieve results, meet deadlines, and proactively anticipate the needs of our Company. A dynamic team player who provides administrative support in a variety of functions to employees, co-workers, and Management team. The Word Processor III role will provide assistance to various SWRMC Divisions to standardize and centrally manage Command personnel rosters, equipment and reports, along with other data entry needs/requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare for review: reports, memos, letters, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (typically Microsoft Office suite of applications) such as Civilian Awards, Assessments reports, Program Reports, Certification of Tests and Repair Reports and mail.

The Contractor shall review incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution. Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes, email, and mail. File these documents and keep records and reports on filed documents. Track and maintain golf cart keys and log.

Greet visitors and coordinate with respective Departmental personnel. Attend meetings.

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Ideal candidate will bring minimum 1
-3 years of government administrative experience

Knowledge of Government Systems and strong computer system knowledge.

Comfortable problem solving and troubleshooting a variety of electronics to include computer systems.

Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrates presentation skills.

Writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.

Solution driven – Identifies and problem solves through workload with urgency.

Time management – Uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives;
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to manage multiple sources of information, data and make independent and timely decisions.
