Summary
The Client Administrator (CA) in the Surety department is the client contact person in the agency for processing all bond requests and will assume full responsibility for processing services of all surety customer accounts. The Surety department CA is responsible for seeing that the clients' bond execution needs are well served and in addition, the Surety CA will be a licensed Notary.

The following is illustrative of the general activities of this position and does not reflect every task this position may undertake. Training and resources will be provided to assure the employee is able to accomplish what is required.
- Process all bond requests and PQ letters.
- Obtain approval and communicate conditions of approval for all bond request within ALOA.
- Administer department invoicing - track aging and keep accounts current.
- Prepare and manage specific, routine bond requests (endorsements, consents, closing activities, renewals, manage status inquiries, track bid results, subcontract bond authentication, notarize bonds).
- Maintain client and company servicing documents and communicate to the surety department all surety company requirements to process bonds and other documents.
- Maintain control sheet, summary sheets and Surety Pro account information.
- Review and attach scanned mailouts/faxes.
- Serve as backup to the SCA/CM in the Surety department.
- Process new account set-up and entry.
- Process client kit and GIA.
- Process line sheets and updates.
- Suggest new prospecting and marketing ideas.
- Process new account set-up in Surety Pro.
- Keep Account Receivables Current.
- Serve as Back-up to others in the Surety Department and perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Answer Written or Oral Questions from Insured and/or Surety Company Regarding Account Assist with Marketing New Business and Renewal Lines of Credit.
- Work with underwriters and clients to obtain additional information for Lines of Credit and specific bond requests.
- High School Diploma
- 1+ Year Industry Experience (Preferred)
- Licensed Notary (Preferred)

At this time, we're focused on hiring candidates local to San Diego. In-office training will be required during onboarding as its hands on and deals with physical documents. Then we will work with the team member to determine a work environment that is ideal for them (remote, hybrid or in office).
Experience with in insurance and surety is ideal. However, it is not required. We will also consider a Surety Sr. Client Administrator and/or Client Manager if we come across them in the process (located in San Diego / Orange County).
