Position Summary
The School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at San Diego State University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate administrative tasks for day-to-day operations and complex, special projects for the School of Exercise and Nutritional Science.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative and Instructional Support: Provide front-office customer service, handle internal and external communications, triage inquiries, student assistant recruitment/training/scheduling, Gradescope support for TAs/ISAs/GAs, class scheduling support for 200+ lecturer, lab, and activity sections across terms, my.
SDSU section maintenance, processing ENS 499/798 registration, syllabi collection, key and parking-pass records, purchasing and travel assistance, supply/equipment/catering coordination, and planning/execution of School events ranging from small meetings to events of up to 250 attendees. - Facilities Maintenance and Coordination: Coordinate ENS facilities maintenance and repair activities with School leadership, faculty, SDSU Facilities/Project Management, vendors and lab personnel; prepare and track work orders and cost estimates, communicate project timelines and access needs, verify completion, monitor safety and hazardous-materials compliance, recommend improvements, and coordinate laundry service logistics for instructional and research labs.
- Program Support: Provide administrative support to key ENS academic and student programs
- Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD):
Support student application/admissions inquiries, campus visits, application tracking, student records, accreditation reporting, and special projects. - Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT):
Coordinate admissions processing including ATCAS application review and correction; data entry in ATRACK information system for students, preceptors, and clinical-sites, accreditation report support, and data management. - ENS Student Club

Coordinate and attend monthly meetings; prepare agendas, materials, and meeting minutes; track action-items, and partner with School Director to support Council initiatives student engagement activities.
- Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD):
- This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, permanent/probationary position.
- This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation.
- Standard SDSU work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs.
- The individual hired into this role will work on campus at SDSU in San Diego.
