Position Overview

Our client, SDG&E, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk II to support timekeeping administration and document management functions. This role will be responsible for accurately entering employee time records into the company's timekeeping system, maintaining Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and ensuring proper records retention. The ideal candidate is highly organized, works well in time-sensitive environments, and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter employee hours worked into the company's timekeeping system (MyTime) with a high level of accuracy.
  • Maintain, organize, and retain Department of Transportation  and records.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Meet established standards for production volume, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Assist with general administrative and data management tasks as assigned.
  • Support department operations by handling various clerical and recordkeeping responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and internal teams regarding data discrepancies or documentation needs.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of data entry, administrative support, or related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer systems and data entry processes.

    Experience maintaining confidential records and documentation preferred.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree or additional college-level coursework preferred.
Interview Process
  • One round interview with a 2-3 person panel consisting of the hiring manager and department supervisors.

  • Comfortable performing repetitive data entry tasks while maintaining accuracy.
