Overview

Our client is a semiconductor and wireless technology company with four decades of experience, over 50,000 employees worldwide, and nearly $50 billion in annual revenue. They are seeking a Procurement Manager with 3+ years of experience in a large matrixed organization who is willing to work in the office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize industry trends, data analysis, third-party supplier spend data, and internal requirements to develop strategies that proactively identify optimization opportunities to assist the team in meeting their goals.
  • Support and drive the execution of strategic sourcing plans and supplier spend management strategies, including handling complex sourcing projects and contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key business partners to understand their needs and become a trusted partner in strategically managing their spend and supplier relationships.
  • Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, influencing their processes, resource decisions, performance management, and policies to create mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.
  • Develop strong internal partnerships across Indirect Procurement, Finance, Operations, Stakeholders, Compliance, and Legal teams.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, work with various business groups to simplify processes, and contribute to the implementation, planning, and change management of process improvement initiatives across Indirect Procurement.
  • Ensure procurement policies and manage the resolution of sourcing issues and escalations. Provide regular communication and training on procurement processes and systems to stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Act as a procurement subject matter expert in consulting with the business to identify, develop, and deploy best practice procurement, category management, and supplier management.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and skills in developing accurate Statements of Work and/or other governing agreements.
  • Develop category strategies, establish and formalize engagements with the supply base for the marketing category, and manage stakeholder and supplier relationships.
  • Apply problem solving with multiple approaches as needed, with advanced data analysis and interpretation to address information gaps or conflicts.
  • Participate in the organizations planning process, interpret business strategies, and establish strategic plans and objectives for multiple areas and functions.
  • Lead teams to identify internal stakeholder needs and requirements based on an understanding of procurement processes, systems, and business needs.
  • Manage multiple teams and projects cross-functionally; develop and contribute to the category strategy based on category expertise and input from stakeholders and the supply base.
  • Leverage technical expertise to identify trends, perform supply market and financial health analysis, and define future solutions by contributing to discussions on strategic direction with senior stakeholders.
  • Guide multiple teams to implement go-to-market procurement strategies across cross-functional business units.
  • Oversee creation of detailed supplier selection criteria to obtain products or services aligned with stakeholder needs and project goals across cross-functional units.
  • Guide teams to apply sourcing methods, train on processes, review supplier feedback, and communicate expectations and outcomes for supplier selection.
  • Direct teams to develop robust negotiation strategies and cultivate supplier relationships, including initiation and negotiation of commercial and other terms, and contract fulfillment; oversee supplier activities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Make decisions with broad implications across sites and globally, reflecting wide knowledge of functions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with high-level representatives to develop, integrate, and execute large initiatives.
  • Review projects to determine required analyses and assign work to address deadlines, monitoring performance data and escalating issues as needed.
