Do you love solving problems on the fly, spotting opportunities to upgrade and improve homes, and working with a small team that genuinely likes each other? We’re a boutique luxury vacation rental company in San Diego that values relationships as much as results, and we’re looking for a key team member to grow with us.
This isn’t just another job — for the right person, it’s a wide‑open opportunity to build a long‑term, senior role at the heart of our portfolio: new home launches, quality control, vendor relationships, and guest experience.
What you’ll do- Lead new property launches from owner sign‑on to first guest (design coordination, smart locks/cameras, photography, checklists, final readiness).
- Coordinate with designers and vendors to get each home fully set up, styled, and equipped before it goes live.
- Oversee inspections and quality control so homes are spotless and guest‑ready before every stay.
- Build and manage a reliable local vendor roster (cleaners, handy people, landscapers, specialists).
- Jump in to troubleshoot guest and property issues and keep things running smoothly day‑to‑day.
- Communicate clearly with the owner/founder and the rest of the team so everyone stays aligned.
- You live in San Diego and can regularly be at properties in Mission Hills, Pacific Beach, and Point Loma.
- Solid hands‑on short‑term rental experience (Airbnb/Vrbo, vacation rentals) — ideally around 3+ years or equivalent depth.
- You’ve helped take properties from “signed” to “live listing” and know what it takes to get a home guest‑ready.
- You already have, or can quickly build, strong local vendor relationships.
- You’re organized, responsive, comfortable working independently, and willing to be hands‑on in the field.
