MCX is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Operations Manager to lead and optimize NPI business processes across multiple business lines within MCX BU. This role requires a strong foundation in supply/demand planning processes, project management, advanced data analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, influence strategic decisions, and lead initiatives that improve NPI planning, supply optimization, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead NPI Demand Planning and Supply Allocation along with Product Management for the portfolio of products.
- Work closely with Product Mgmt (PdM), Program Mgmt, NPI‑Ops and Engineering/PTE from product tape‑out through CS to identify the risks impacting product schedule/supply, define priorities/action‑items (AI) and execute AIs until resolution.
- Lead monthly short‑term FCST (9Q) reviews of NPI chipsets with various PdM groups to assure chipset attach rate assumptions are captured accurately in the Unconstrained Demand Plan.
- Lead quarterly long‑term FCST (Q9 to 16Q) reviews of NPI chipsets with various PdM teams to provide directional guidance of capacity requirements in years 3 & 4 to Supply Chain/Sourcing.
- Partner with Finance to translate financial goals (Budget) into an operational plan for supply chain.
- Participate in roadmap reviews to understand latest changes in product timing/tiers and align monthly FCST plan.
- Engage in the monthly forecast process to review customer raw demand, Sales‑Judged FCST & PdM submissions vs. customers’ sampling plans to mitigate the risk of under‑/over‑forecasting during NPI.
- Own and evolve the supply planning to effectively manage customer demand while minimizing E&O risk.
- Understand key customer demand dynamics and chipset product roadmap.
- Partner with senior stakeholders in Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, Sales Ops, IT, and Regional Sales to define and execute strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business growth.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Deliver actionable insights through scenario modeling, KPI dashboards, and executive‑level reporting.
- Identify and implement process and tool improvements across NPI supply/demand/allocation planning. Champion automation and tool enhancements to improve accuracy and reduce latency.
- Foster collaborative discussion across cross‑functional teams to ensure timely communication of priorities, risks, and results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or a related field and 7+ years of business operations or related experience (or an equivalent combination) OR Associate’s degree and 9+ years of business operations or related experience.
- 7+ years of related experience in Product Supply Planning and/or Product Management.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain key collaborative relationships across multiple functional organizations.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with demand and supply planning processes.
- Experience driving analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Management of multiple high‑visibility, strategic, and complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives and delivering measurable impact.
- Master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Kinaxis Rapid Response experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- 7+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
