Hybrid (San Diego, CA) – The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for planning, managing, and executing change management activities across a portfolio of high‑impact initiatives. This role supports large capital projects focused on process optimization, IT system enhancements, large‑scale deployments, and continuous improvement efforts. The OCM Lead serves as the primary point of contact for the OCM workstream, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Change Leadership & Execution – 40%
- Lead and manage all aspects of organizational change management for assigned projects.
- Coordinate directly with internal departments, SMEs, consultants, and leadership to ensure alignment and readiness.
- Develop and execute OCM strategies, plans, and timelines across change impact assessments, business readiness, training, and communications.
- Project Delivery & Accountability – 25%
- Drive accountability across teams to ensure tasks, milestones, and deliverables are completed on schedule and within approved budgets.
- Monitor progress, elevate issues, and proactively mitigate risks that may impact project success.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – 20%
- Maintain open, consistent communication with project team members, stakeholders, end‑users, and management.
- Facilitate meetings, present updates, and ensure clarity around expectations, impacts, and next steps.
- Tools, Systems & Reporting – 10%
- Utilize project management and reporting tools to support consistency in scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and overall project governance.
- Support adoption and use of applications and software that enhance project visibility and execution.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5–8 years of experience in organizational change management, project management, IT, utility operations, construction, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of change management principles;
Prosci certification required. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power Suite applications.
- Demonstrated experience leading large projects, driving change, and managing diverse teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, self‑starter mindset, and ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Working knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP, scheduling tools, dispatching platforms, and mobility applications.
