Job Description:

The OpportunityA Senior Event Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing Quantum Design's presence at trade shows, conferences, workshops, and customer events to life. You will own the day-to-day coordination and logistics of our North American event program, ensuring every event is executed seamlessly and supports our business objectives. While North America will be your primary focus, you will also collaborate with and provide event support to Quantum Design's global offices as capacity  this role, you will work closely with Sales, Applications, Product Management, and external partners to manage timelines, vendors, shipping, booth services, and event logistics.

You will serve as the central point of coordination, ensuring teams arrive prepared, deadlines are met, and every detail is accounted for. Responsibilities Lead event management across trade shows, customer events, conferences, and workshops by managing timelines, logistics, staffing, materials, and onsite activities from planning through completion.

Serve as the primary event contact for sales teams, vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders by coordinating requirements, communicating timelines, and ensuring alignment across all parties.

Manage the events budget and vendor activities by obtaining quotes, coordinating purchase orders and invoices, tracking costs, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting overall budget objectives.

Identify and coordinate venues and event services by evaluating locations based on customer needs, product requirements, logistics, accessibility, and overall event objectives.

Coordinate internal event staffing and participation, ensuring employees receive schedules, deadlines, registration details, and event-related communications

Support inventory management by maintaining accurate records, coordinating shipments and returns, and improving processes for the storage, movement, setup, and removal of event assets.

Support with event marketing and content development by coordinating graphics, collateral, advertising, social media, presentations, and other customer-facing materials to ensure accurate and consistent product messaging.

Collaborate with international teams to support global workshops, coordinating shared requirements, and ensuring effective communication and execution across regions.

Align products and messaging with target audiences, anticipate customer needs, and resolve issues to ensure successful event execution.

Measure event effectiveness and drive continuous improvement by analyzing costs, attendance, engagement, customer feedback, and business outcomes to provide post-event recommendations and improve future programs.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field
