Product Manager
The Lead Technical Product Manager, Digital Pharmacy, will lead the development of next-generation digital pharmacy experiences and the reusable technical capabilities that power them.
This is a hands-on technical product role spanning strategy through execution. The Lead Technical Product Manager will shape product direction, define and prioritize capabilities, maintain a healthy and executable product backlog, and partner directly with Engineering and Architecture throughout discovery and delivery.
Digital Pharmacy will serve as an incubator for new pharmacy capabilities-rapidly testing and launching MVPs, learning from customer behavior and business outcomes, and evolving successful solutions into reusable components, services, APIs, and platform capabilities that can support multiple clients, channels, and pharmacy experiences.
We are looking for someone who can comfortably move between product strategy, customer experience, technical architecture, and detailed product execution-someone who sees technical depth and delivery rigor as fundamental parts of great product management.
What You'll DoProduct Strategy & Discovery- Translate customer needs, business opportunities, and market insights into clear product priorities, capabilities, and roadmaps
- Partner across Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and business teams to identify customer problems, define product hypotheses, and determine the right opportunities to pursue
- Define MVPs and incremental releases that allow us to deliver value, learn quickly, and continuously improve the product
- Establish clear product outcomes and use customer insights, analytics, and operational data to inform prioritization and iteration
- Translate product strategy, customer journeys, and experience designs into a clear, prioritized, development-ready backlog
- Define features and write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules with the level of detail required for Engineering to confidently begin development
- Lead ongoing backlog refinement and grooming with Engineering, ensuring upcoming work is well understood, appropriately decomposed, prioritized, and ready for delivery
- Maintain clear connections between product outcomes, capabilities, features, stories, dependencies, and releases
- Identify edge cases, expected system behaviors, data requirements, integrations, technical dependencies, and non-functional requirements where appropriate
- Develop strong working knowledge of the systems, APIs, services, integrations, data flows, and architectural patterns that enable Digital Pharmacy experiences
- Participate actively in technical discovery, solution design, refinement, and delivery discussions
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture to understand technical options and constraints, surface dependencies, challenge assumptions, and make informed product tradeoffs
- Ensure technical decisions remain connected to the customer problem and intended product outcome
- Think beyond the immediate feature or use case and identify opportunities to create reusable components, APIs, services, business rules, and platform capabilities
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture to determine where capabilities should be standardized for reuse across multiple products, channels, clients, and pharmacy experience
- Balance near‑term product delivery with intentional investments in the technical foundations required for future scale
- Use Digital Pharmacy as an incubator to rapidly test new experiences and capabilities
- Define the smallest meaningful MVP required to validate customer value, business value, or a product hypothesis
- Partner with Analytics to establish measurement and learning plans and use product performance, customer feedback, and operational insights to inform subsequent iterations
- Identify successful capabilities that should be hardened, standardized, and scaled for broader reuse
- Identify upstream and downstream dependencies early and work across teams to establish the sequencing required for end-to-end delivery
- Validate that delivered capabilities meet the intended customer experience, business rules, acceptance criteria, and product outcomes
- Continuously evolve the backlog based on what we learn through discovery, development, and production usage
