Job Summary

Daycare Assistant:
Provide support and supervision at a daycare facility.

• Ensure safety of children.
• Engage in play and learning activities.
• Assist with meal and nap times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Follow policies and procedures to create a nurturing environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet children's needs and promote their development.
• Uphold confidentiality and respect for diversity.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification a plus.
• Experience working with young learners desired.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
• Positive attitude and genuine care for children essential.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must pass background check and adhere to state licensing regulations.

$19 - $30 per hour
