The Construction Quality Control Manager develops and manages a construction quality control program for $30+Million projects in the water, wastewater and heavy civil infrastructure market sectors.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the development and management of a construction quality control program
- Daily site walks. Inspection and verification of installation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project management staff, project owners, engineers and construction trade personnel.
- Understand and analyze technical specifications used in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Prepare and review construction documents such as submittals and work plans.
- Track revision control and develop conformed documents utilizing specifications, codes, and standards.
- Enforce compliance against specifications, codes and standards.
- Create daily quality control reports.
- Manage compliance using a systematic and disciplined approach such as the Three Phases of Control.
- Create meeting agendas, prepare for meetings, chair and facilitate meetings, create and distribute meeting minutes.
- Create and manage various logs, lists and spreadsheets.
- Perform administrative work, including maintaining records, documentation and compliance reports.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party specialty testing.
- Work closely with project supervision (Project Managers, Superintendents, Foreman) to maintain a safe jobsite. Promote safe practices throughout the workforce. Conduct periodic safety audits at job sites, as needed, to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred; or comparable field experience and training in a related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) desired, not required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years combined experience as a Quality Control Manager, Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager on heavy civil/infrastructure projects greater than $20M in value.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Construction Quality Control Manager.
- Experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
- Possess or attain a Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Bluebeam.
- Self‑motivated, goal oriented and high attention to detail.
100% of the time is spent on the project.

- Physical demands associated with this position include ascending or descending multiple levels with ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like several times a day.

Salary: $110,000-$140,000 depending on experience
