This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent based in San Diego, CA. The Construction Superintendent will oversee and manage daily construction site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities will include supervising construction activities, collaborating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, managing resources, and addressing any challenges that arise on-site.
The role also involves coordinating with project management teams, maintaining records, and ensuring high-quality project delivery that aligns with client expectations.
- Experience in Construction Site Management and ensuring compliance with construction safety standards
- Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, workflows, and resources effectively
- Proficiency in Budgeting to manage project costs and ensure financial oversight
- Skilled in Project Management, including coordinating teams, tracking progress, and maintaining timelines
- Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Thorough understanding of construction codes, permits, and safety regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety guidelines certification or PMP are a plus
- Proven track record in managing multifamily or commercial construction projects is highly desirable
