Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Diego Metropolitan Area for a Marine Construction Quality Control Manager. The role involves overseeing quality assurance processes for marine and waterfront construction projects. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards, identifying and resolving quality issues, preparing documentation, and working closely with project teams to maintain high standards.

The candidate will also liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address quality concerns and ensure project success.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of quality control practices, inspection standards, and compliance requirements in marine or heavy civil construction
  • Proficiency in project management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills for managing multiple construction projects effectively
  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in marine construction environments
  • Experience with project documentation and reporting to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with project teams, stakeholders, and clients
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in marine or heavy civil construction is preferred
  • Certifications in quality management or project management are advantageous
