This is a contract role for a Division of the State Architect (DSA) Inspector based in San Diego, CA, focusing on K-12 projects in San Diego County. The DSA Inspector will oversee compliance with project specifications, perform construction field inspections, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain detailed project documentation. Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, the role involves quality assurance/quality control, report preparation, and resolving field issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications- DSA Inspector Class 1 required
- Minimum 5 years experience with inspection, construction management, and compliance with regulatory standards on K-12 Schools
- Proficiency in quality assurance/quality control processes, report preparation, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of California building codes and construction standards is essential.
- Proficiency in digital tools and construction management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt in a hybrid work environment.
