A top-tier, 100% employee‑owned general contractor is hiring a mid‑level Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day field execution on projects in the San Diego market. This is a hands‑on field leadership seat owning safety, quality, schedule, trade partner coordination, site logistics, and inspection readiness from mobilization through turnover. DSA (Division of the State Architect) experience is highly preferred.

• Lead day‑to‑day site execution across safety, quality, schedule, and logistics.
• Coordinate subcontractors and drive short‑interval planning, lookaheads, and production flow.
• Partner tightly with the Project Manager to remove constraints and keep the job moving.
• Own inspection readiness, documentation discipline, and compliance expectations, especially for regulated/public projects.
• Run weekly trade coordination, resolve field issues fast, and keep commitments tight.
• Manage punch, turnover, and closeout to deliver a clean handoff to the owner.

• Proven Superintendent experience on vertical construction projects (commercial and/or public sector).
• Strong leadership presence with subcontractor management and field problem solving.
• Track record of executing schedule, quality, and safety at a high standard.
• Comfortable operating as a mid‑level Superintendent (not entry level, not general superintendent).

• DSA experience (K–12 and other DSA‑regulated work).
• Experience with a reputable GC and solid tenure history.
