Description

The Laborer responsibilities will include performing various physical tasks on construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and collaborating with the broader construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. The Laborer is expected to perform duties in accordance with the Company’s Core Values, Business Ethics, Employee Conduct, and Confidentiality policies while maintaining professionalism with owners, consultants, labor representatives, and public agencies.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring the site is ready for construction activities.
  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Move construction materials and tools to various locations on the site.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations on the construction site.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the Superintendent immediately.
  • Work closely with other construction team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail to meet project specifications.
  • Participate in quality control checks as required.
  • Keep the construction site clean and organized.
  • Assist in the cleanup of tools and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with other construction-related projects as directed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment, including in inclement weather.
  • Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
