Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Construction

A leading commercial contractor is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced Superintendents and project teams on high-profile commercial projects. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow within the construction industry, with the ability to assist in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

• Assist the Superintendent with daily on-site construction operations
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
• Help maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to plan
• Conduct job site walks and monitor quality control efforts
• Support job site safety initiatives and OSHA compliance requirements
• Assist with project documentation, daily reports, and progress tracking
• Review drawings and specifications to support field operations
• Identify and communicate field issues to project leadership
• Help coordinate project closeout and punch list activities

• 2-5+ years of experience in commercial construction, field engineering, project engineering, or supervisory roles
• Experience with ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Working knowledge of construction sequencing and job site operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  Procore experience is a plus
• Stable work history and strong desire for career advancement
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment

Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 per year (based on experience)
