We are seeking a highly organized and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee our building projects from initial conception to final completion. You will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and up to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a problem‑solver who can balance technical engineering requirements with the realities of on‑site labor and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop full‑scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Budget Management: Estimate costs, manage the budget, and track expenses to ensure the project remains financially viable.
- Team Leadership: Manage and provide guidance to sub‑contractors, and internal staff.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular progress updates.
- Procurement: Negotiate contracts and manage the acquisition of materials and equipment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to minimize delays.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction project management (Commercial/Residential/Industrial).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6) and AutoCAD. - Certifications: PMP or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) is a strong plus.
- Leadership: Ability to command respect on-site and motivate a diverse team.
- Critical Thinking: Quick decision‑making skills when faced with unexpected site conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and negotiation.
- Detail‑Oriented: A keen eye for quality control and structural integrity.
