Role DescriptionThe Construction Worker role at All Pro Contractor is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego, CA. This role involves performing hands-on construction tasks such as demolition, framing, installation, and finishing work for residential remodeling projects including ADUs, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovations. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading basic plans or instructions, preparing and maintaining work areas, handling tools and materials safely, and assisting skilled trades with project execution.
The Construction Worker collaborates with supervisors and crew members, follows safety protocols, and helps ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards. This role may also involve interacting with clients on-site in a professional and respectful manner.
- Practical construction skills, including experience with general Construction tasks and Renovation work in residential settings.
- Hands-on trade abilities such as Masonry and Flooring installation, repair, or finishing.
- Ability to apply basic Research skills to understand materials, tools, and construction methods as needed.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, equipment operation, and job-site safety practices (OSHA awareness preferred).
- Ability to read simple plans or instructions and follow directions with attention to detail and quality.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the San Diego area and willingness to work standard full-time construction hours.
- Previous experience in residential remodeling or construction is preferred; vocational training, apprenticeship, or relevant certifications are a plus.
