Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2-5 years experience in construction and project management, healthcare construction preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast –paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Industry Standard Programs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree
  • Area of Study:
    Engineering, Business or construction related field or equivalent experience within the construction industry
  • Knowledge of Project Management functions
  • Proficient in construction management software preferred:
    Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, EBuilder and Spectrum
  • Understanding of Project Plans and Specifications
Core Duties:
  • Attend and participates in meetings with Architect/Engineer and Client. Collects and/or prepare meeting minutes of said meetings.
  • Develop and update project schedule with Project Manager and Superintendent
  • Distribute plans and specifications after award of the project as assigned.
  • Become thoroughly familiar with the project drawings, specifications, addendums, ACDs, deltas, owner contract and subcontracts
  • Assist Project Manager and Project Superintendent in preparation for progress meetings with all subcontractors on the project. Takes minutes and distributes.
  • Distribute potential change order documents to subcontractors/suppliers for pricing. Assist in collecting of bids for review.
  • Ensure all clarifications, changes, directives, RFIs, etc., are updated on the “as-built” drawings and are fully coordinated with Superintendent and all subcontractor/suppliers.
  • Review and process all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time. Upon approval, responsible for distribution to subcontractors/vendors and Superintendent.
  • Write, distribute, coordinate and track RFIs. Review all trade specific RFIs for potential, cost and/or schedule impact.
  • Responsible for submitting owner required close-out documents and assisting subcontractors and suppliers in scheduling owner required training and documentation.
  • Assist Project Manager in proactively managing the project budget by controlling expenses, identifying work not covered by subcontractor’s scope and alerting the PM when expenses surpass the budgets cost on the job.
  • Assist Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of potential change orders (PCOs), owner change orders (OCOs), internal change orders (ICOs) and subcontractor change orders (SCOs).
  • Support the quality control measures outlined in the QA/QC program.
  • Assist in the review and updating of cost reports.
  • Assist on bid and proposal development as required.
  • Build effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors and suppliers that reflect and support ETC's core values and meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.
  • Participate in personal career development through on-the-job training, attends operations classroom training programs and assists in the development Project Coordinators and Interns.
  • Supervise Project Coordinator (PC) and train the PC on all aspects of their job responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager, Business Unit Lead or Executive Team
Job Requirements:
  • Spectrum Software preferred
  • Procore Software preferred
  • Understanding of project plans and specifications
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (internal and external)
  • Ability to work on several projects concurrently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience in accounting and construction management preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHPD/HCAi standards and requirements a plus
