Description
Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is a boutique Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm specializing in providing high-quality remote professionals to businesses across the United States. We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimators & Project Coordinators to join our talent pool. In this role, you will support construction companies by preparing accurate cost estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, coordinating project documentation, and assisting project managers throughout the construction lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience interpreting construction drawings, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on project plans, specifications, and scope of work.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for construction projects.
- Review blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Track project schedules, budgets, and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist project managers with planning, procurement, and project coordination.
- Maintain organized project records and documentation.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Research material and labor costs to support accurate project estimates.
- Ensure estimates and project documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
- 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a related role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
- Knowledge of construction terminology, materials, methods, and estimating principles.
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing cost estimates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- English proficiency at a C1 level or higher (written and verbal) with a slight to neutral accent.
- Availability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office.
- Experience with estimating software such as Plan Swift, Bluebeam Revu, STACK, Pro Est, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Microsoft Project.
- Experience supporting residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with subcontractor bidding, procurement, and vendor management.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience supporting U.S.
-based construction companies. - Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot to improve workflow efficiency.
