Senior Superintendent - Multifamily Construction

Up to $160,000 + Performance Bonus + Equity

We are partnering with a vertically integrated real estate development and construction company to hire a Senior Superintendent for its growing San Diego operation.

The company develops and builds large-scale, podium-style multifamily communities and has an established pipeline of San Diego projects extending through at least 2028.

This is an opportunity to join during an important stage of growth. The construction division has strengthened its leadership team and is looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent who can lead field operations, improve project execution and help shape how the business operates going forward.

• Lead day-to-day field operations on a large podium multifamily project
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics and construction activities
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality and project delivery
• Coordinate closely with project management, preconstruction, design and manufacturing teams
• Identify potential issues early and drive practical solutions
• Hold project teams and trade partners accountable to agreed schedules and standards
• Help establish stronger field processes and operating practices
• Build productive relationships with internal stakeholders, subcontractors and project partners

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent with a general contractor or major developer
• Strong background delivering large, ground-up podium multifamily projects
• Experience managing complex projects from early construction through completion
• Broad construction knowledge beyond basic field supervision
• Strong leadership, communication and subcontractor-management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding and evolving environment
• Collaborative, accountable and able to remain effective when priorities change
• San Diego or Southern California market experience preferred
• Affordable-housing or modular-construction experience is beneficial but not required

• Base salary up to $160,000

The position is based on projects in the San Diego area, with no expectation of national travel. Local candidates are strongly preferred. Relocation assistance is not available, although candidates already planning a move to San Diego may be considered.
