Sr Graphic Designer – Mainstay Medical

This position works with the Director of Marketing and the Commercial Marketing Manager to execute graphic design and visual creative needs in support of marketing strategies that promote ReActiv8 for our global commercial businesses.

• Collaborate on the creation and enhancement of messaging and communication through visual design for all audiences, including professional layout and graphic design work in InDesign.
• Actively collaborate and contribute to the creative process to take concepts, ideas and mock‑ups to the next level.
• Execute creation of core sales support materials including collateral and pitch book templates, brochures, marketing collateral in InDesign.
• Execute creation of visual aspects of marketing materials from start to finish, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders through the correct internal review processes.
• Own the organization of working files and drafts on SharePoint to efficiently store assets and execute updates to materials and collateral.
• Demonstrate capability to work on multiple types of projects at any one time.
• Create content and materials for market/segments with different target audiences and drivers.
• Strictly adhere to workflow management and quality control methods required to produce quality work products.

• Proven experience in graphic design, ideally within the pain or medical industry.
• Excellent ability to translate ideas into clear and concise visual storytelling.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital assets in varying artistic styles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate), Figma, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to learn email layout in Hub Spot.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable working on a pipeline of tasks with a project manager or directly with senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills regarding workload, project estimates and competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, visual media, digital media or similar (preferred).
• At least 3–5 years of experience in graphic design and digital art, as demonstrated by your portfolio.
• Polished and professional with outstanding communication, relationship‑building and influencing skills.
• Competent as a technical designer with flexibility to work in varying artistic styles and an eye for layout.
• Willingness to learn about medical and spine procedures; experience or interest in Med Tech is a plus.
• Team player who can navigate throughout the organization and build solid relationships to get work done efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate on projects with a high level of professionalism and timeliness.
• Comfortable with an in‑person, face‑to‑face working environment in downtown San Diego.
• Technologically savvy with a hands‑on approach to learning new digital solutions.
• Willingness to collaborate with multiple diverse teams/individuals.

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $112,000 per year; however, base pay offered will take into account a range of factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
