Pretzel Logic Productions is seeking a talented, driven Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is passionate about producing cutting-edge, compelling, and exciting commercial content
. This role is ideal for an editor who loves storytelling, understands pacing and emotion, and wants to push creative boundaries while collaborating with a high-performance, in-house production team.
This is a fully in-house position based in San Diego. No remote work.
Pretzel Logic Productions is a full-service, in-house video production studio creating bold, cinematic, results-driven content for brands across casino, hospitality, healthcare, sports, destination, and entertainment categories. From high-impact commercials to branded content and social-first storytelling, PLP is built on creativity, speed, collaboration, and an obsession with quality.
What You’ll Do- Edit commercial and branded video content from concept through final delivery
- Craft compelling stories with strong pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, creative leadership, and fellow editors
- Cut content for broadcast, digital, social, and internal brand use
- Execute edits that feel modern, dynamic, and visually engaging
- Incorporate music, sound design, graphics, and visual effects to elevate the final product
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while hitting deadlines with precision
- Apply feedback efficiently while protecting the integrity of the creative
- Maintain strong organization of assets, timelines, and project files
- Uphold PLP’s high standards for polish, storytelling, and execution
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience
, preferably in commercial or branded content - Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for graphic preparation and visual enhancements
- After Effects experience is a strong plus
, especially for motion graphics, titles, and animated elements - DaVinci Resolve experience is a nice-to-have
, not required - Strong understanding of pacing, timing, color, and visual storytelling
- Ability to cut exciting, attention-grabbing commercials that hold audience interest
- Experience editing for multiple formats and platforms
- Solid sense of music selection and sound design
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
