Sixteen fifty, a boutique creative, advertising, and branding agency, is looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer with strong design fundamentals, great typography, good taste, and solid production skills. This individual must be a well-rounded designer with intelligent design skills and a refined sense of detail.

This position will work directly with our art directors, senior designers, and account leads on a variety of projects. This includes advertising campaigns, production design, promotional creative, digital assets, and more. A successful candidate will be organized, dependable, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented; able to work both autonomously and as part of a team; and able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously with ease.

You will be responsible for taking briefs from account executives and senior artists and working across a wide range of projects.

What kind of clients, you ask...we predominantly work in the hospitality space with hotels, casinos, entertainment destinations, and a few boutique DTC brands.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Prepare files for print and web
• Work within established brand systems while still finding opportunities to make the work fresh, engaging, and visually strong
• Create design solutions for our various clients, including but not limited to print, web, TV, social, environmental, creative campaigns, and daily creative requests
• Design and work on your own projects while multitasking with the team on various other projects
• Work in conjunction with different teams on collaborative projects
• Work on various hospitality experiences from casinos, hotels, restaurants, products, and destinations

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• 1–5 years of professional design experience; agency experience preferred. Exceptional portfolios considered regardless of exact years of experience
• Ability to prepare final mechanical files for release to printer
• Proficient with Mac OSX and Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of typographic rules, color theory, and visual hierarchy
• Reports to art directors for design direction and must bring ideas to the conversation
• The ability to work in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and handles critiques with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, hard-working, initiative-taking, and takes ownership
• Exposure to diverse project work

Salary range is dependent on experience.
