Coastal Payroll is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Support Specialist III to join our dynamic Client Support team. As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless payroll processing for our valued clients. This position acts as the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive support, training, and issue resolution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Client Management:
    Oversee and manage your designated portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with daily deadlines.
  • Training and Support:
    Assist clients with the training and ongoing use of our web-based human capital management products, empowering them to maximize the system's capabilities.
  • Payroll Analysis:
    Help clients analyze payroll reports and develop customized reporting tools to meet business needs.
  • Customer Service:
    Handle a high volume of incoming calls and support cases, delivering top-notch customer service with every interaction.
  • Professional Development:
    Work directly under company management to deepen your payroll knowledge and become an expert in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Industry

    Experience:

    Proven knowledge and/or experience in customer service and operations within payroll and human resources functions.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong phone and web-based customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
    Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, as well as payroll taxes at both the federal and state levels.
  • Multitasking Ability:
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational

    Skills:

    Strong verbal and written skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Solid math and analytical skills to effectively support clients.
  • Educational Background: A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
