Orthodontist (Part-Time or Full-Time)

We’re a well-established pediatric and orthodontic practice in a fantastic community, and we’re seeking an orthodontist who values excellent outcomes, thoughtful patient care, and a strong team culture.

This position can start within the next 6 months. We’re open to part-time or full-time for the right fit and a long-term relationship.

The Practice

Our reputation is built on two things:

  • High-quality orthodontic results
  • A patient experience that feels calm, clear, and personal

You’ll be working alongside a pediatric team that collaborates closely, communicates well, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

The Role

As our orthodontist, you’ll lead diagnosis and treatment planning, deliver comprehensive orthodontic care, and work hand-in-hand with our pediatric and clinical team to provide coordinated, consistent care.

You will:

  • Perform orthodontic exams and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Interpret records (digital X-rays/3D imaging, models, histories) to guide care
  • Treat occlusion and alignment concerns using fixed and removable appliances
  • Fit, adjust, and monitor braces and other orthodontic appliances with regular follow-ups
  • Educate patients and parents with clear expectations and simple, effective home‑care guidance
  • Collaborate with pediatric dentists and referring specialists when needed
  • Guide and support clinical assistants to ensure excellent workflow and patient experience

Team dynamic / leadership expectation:

  • We’re looking for a trusted leader—someone who can make sound clinical decisions, set the tone in the operatory, and provide clear direction to the team.
  • You should be comfortable taking ownership of cases, answering questions with confidence, and helping the team stay aligned on patient care and next steps.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Part‑time or full‑time
  • Monday–Friday
  • Compensation:
Competitive; based on experience and role structure (details discussed with candidates)
Credentials & Experience
  • DDS or DMD
  • Orthodontic specialty training from an ADA‑accredited program
  • AAO membership
  • Strong knowledge of orthodontic systems, appliances, and modern clinical workflows
  • Comfortable with digital diagnostics (digital radiographs, 3D imaging)
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and attention to detail
  • A team‑first mindset and high standards for patient care
Who Thrives Here

This is a great fit for an orthodontist who:

  • enjoys building trust with families and delivering consistent, high‑level results
  • wants a professional, respectful environment with a strong support team
  • values collaboration and clear communication across pediatric + ortho care
  • is confident leading a team with clarity and steadiness
