A national design practice known for shaping large‑scale hospitality destinations (including luxury hotels, resort properties, entertainment venues, and integrated casino environments) is seeking an Interior Designer I/II to join its San Diego studio. This team is part of a broader national network recognized for immersive guest‑experience design, strong cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and a consistently robust pipeline of high‑profile hospitality work.

About the Role

The Interior Designer I/II will help develop interior concepts, space plans, material palettes, and coordinated design solutions for complex hospitality projects. This role participates from early concept through roughly mid‑construction, with opportunities for exposure to on‑site coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate interior architectural concepts for hospitality environments, including:
  • Furniture and equipment planning
  • Floor plan analysis and space planning
  • Materiality and visual design concepts
  • Integration of structural, mechanical, and electrical considerations
  • Support development of new or improved design approaches based on project needs.
  • Produce drawings, presentations, and documentation aligned with project standards.
  • Collaborate with senior‑level designers on more complex, large‑scale projects.
  • Follow up with the construction team to maintain design intent.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design required.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in interiors, ideally with commercial or hospitality project exposure.
  • Strong space planning, material selection, and concept development skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary studio.
  • Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is a plus.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out

  • Join a thriving San Diego studio with meaningful ties to a nationwide team of architects, interior designers, and experiential strategists.
  • Step into a role offering consistent design engagement, strong project diversity, and room to grow under seasoned mentors.
