Delawie, a LEO A DALY Company, is seeking an Architectural Project Manager with demonstrated project experience for the Department of Defense (DoD). The successful candidate will provide high-level project management duties from project inception through construction administration phases. The successful candidate filling this position will:
- Demonstrate a dedicated spirit towards client satisfaction through service excellence.
- Have strong communication skills to communicate with clients, consultants, and project team members.
- Can navigate through several jurisdictions for project requirements and permitting.
- Be comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to lead and mentor team of junior staff members.
- Collaborate and coordinate with in-house Interiors Department.
- Develop project design schedules.
- Estimate project staffing requirements.
- Monitor and manage project staff work loads.
- Manages projects of all sizes and levels of complexity and provides project team leadership.
- Architectural license required.
- 8+ years of relevant post-education experience in design/project management in an architectural design firm, or equivalent.
- Experience in design-build project delivery methods for the DoD, primarily for NAVFAC and IMCOM, and a strong technical competency.
- Leadership experience, including managing client expectations, multi-disciplinary team, and meeting scope/schedule/budget.
- Advanced knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration and code requirements.
- Proficiency with Revit required.
- In‑depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch Up Modeling, MS Office, MS Project, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
- Experience working directly with clients.
Salary range for this position varies between $105,000–165,000, depending upon applicable experience.
