Seeking a contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16-24 hrs/week, in‑person) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment for children and adolescents in Riverside, CA.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for youth with diverse mental health needs.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, offering education on side effects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and families, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain clinical documentation per agency and regulatory standards, providing coverage as needed.
- Qualifications include a valid California medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience with diverse pediatric populations.
- Preferred bilingual (Spanish) skills and familiarity with community clinic settings.
Compensation ranges from $210 to $230 per hour, with a flexible schedule. This position promotes a strengths‑based, community‑focused approach aligned with the organization’s mission to support vulnerable children and families.
