We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at our location. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, aiding in return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. You will offer both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic services and engage in case management with employers.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in your state, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
