Position Description

The Department of Structural Engineering at UC San Diego is seeking one or more temporary lecturers to teach between one and three courses per quarter. We seek applicants in all structural engineering content areas with the expertise to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Qualifications

Basic qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master's in civil, mechanical, aerospace, or structural engineering, or a related field, and must have demonstrated evidence of effective teaching.

Additional qualifications: Minimum of one quarter or semester teaching one or more courses, either as Instructor of Record or as a Teaching Assistant. Equivalent industry experience such as a minimum presenting one or more seminars, or conducting one or more trainings may be substituted for teaching experience.
