Early Childhood Education Teacher (Part-time) BACKGROUND

Gymboree Play & Music is the world’s leading parent-child interactive play, music and arts program for children ages newborn to five years. For almost 50 years, Gymboree has been bringing play, music, arts and learning to families across the United States and around the world!

• Programming:
  Facilitate parent-child interactive activities, including age‑appropriate play activities on custom‑designed play equipment, songs, parachute play, bubbles.
• Prepare lesson plans according to Gymboree curriculum.
• Customer Service:
  Maintain successful classes with new and current families, be knowledgeable in teaching and programming to help grow classes.
• Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, greet and service customers.

• Work with online class scheduling software to facilitate classes for families and update accounts.
• Attend designated staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain site standards, including cleaning, stocking and pricing of merchandise, and help with equipment set changes.
• Gymboree Play & Music provides all training necessary.

• Experience working with children newborn to 5 years preferred.
• Solid group leadership skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. and move play equipment.
• Clean, physical appearance; maintain professional appearance and hygiene.

Part‑time available. Classes held weekdays, evenings and weekends. Must be available to work at least one weekend day.

Teacher pay rate is $18-20 per hour depending on experience. Free Gymboree Play & Music classes for your child.
