Position DescriptionThe Rady School of Management is committed to academic excellence and diversity through research, teaching, service, and other scholarly activities. The School invites applications for one or more Assistant Professor positions in Finance. Successful candidates will conduct research in Financial Economics that both overlaps and expands the existing interests of Rady Finance faculty, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to the department and university community.
Responsibilities- Conduct cutting‑edge research in Financial Economics
- Teach Finance courses at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Present research at high‑quality academic conferences and seminars
- Engage in scholarly service activities that benefit the department, university, and academic community
- Basic qualifications (required at time of application): Enrolled in, or holding, a PhD in Finance, Economics, or a related field (e.g., Management with a Finance/ Economics focus; PhD or doctoral student). Minimum one year of research and teaching experience in a finance‑related discipline.
