WhyJoin La Jolla Country Day School?
At La Jolla Country Day School, our Middle School mathematics program aims to solidify computation skills, build self-confidence in mathematical abilities, and teach organizational habits demonstrated in student work. We believe the process of arriving at one’s answer is more important than the answer itself. Students are encouraged to explore the properties of numbers, develop modeling strategies, justify their thinking, and engage in meaningful mathematical discourse.
As a mission-driven community committed to dignity, equity, and inclusion, we value educators who cultivate curiosity, resilience, and analytical thinking.
