Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school is seeking a skilled Special Education Teacher to support students across various grade levels, including Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Pre-K, elementary through high school grades, and middle school. This contract position is located in San Diego, CA, and focuses on delivering specialized instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of students, with an emphasis on math.

Qualifications:
- Experience teaching Special Education students across multiple grade levels (Pre-K through 12th grade)
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies tailored to students with special needs
- Proficiency in math instruction and curriculum adaptation
- Ability to create inclusive classroom environments that foster learning and growth
- Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized educational plans for students with special needs
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to address different learning styles and abilities
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to achieve educational goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional effectiveness
